This was by far the best thing I could have done for myself after getting laid off from my job unexpectedly. I didn’t know how to handle it, but Shannon Guy at the TN career center suggested some programs that I could do in a short amount of time. She was very helpful, and I appreciate everything she did to make this happen for me. I was led to TNPTI, and I decided on the Medical billing and coding 10-week night course classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights. My instructor was Amy Cheatham. Words cannot describe what she has done for me. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and encouraged me when I was unsure of myself. I passed this class by studying and practicing even when I didn’t have homework. I also just recently passed my certification exam, and I was not confident that I would pass. Hard work and dedication paid off in the end. I am thankful to the TNPTI staff that worked hard on making sure all things were done in a timely manner.
